The Center and CHAMPS Promote Myers and Wise

February 12, 2018

On Wednesday, Feb. 7, The Center for Health Affairs and CHAMPS Healthcare’s Interim President & CEO Phil Mazanec announced two organizational changes at an all-team member meeting:

Yolandi Myers, Senior Vice President of Business Operations

Yolandi Myers has been promoted from vice president of CHAMPS Group Purchasing to senior vice president of business operations for The Center and CHAMPS. In this new role, Myers will oversee CHAMPS Group Purchasing, CHAMPS Oncology and Marketing for the organization.

“There are many strategic business and marketing concepts that have been successful for CHAMPS GPO under Myers’ leadership that she will be able to implement across the entire organization,” said Mazanec. “This promotion is well-deserved and will better prepare us for future success.”

Tracy Wise, Vice President of CHAMPS Group Purchasing

Tracy Wise has been promoted from associate vice president of CHAMPS Group Purchasing to vice president of CHAMPS Group Purchasing. In this role, she is responsible for leading the division’s ongoing growth, customer satisfaction and retention, as well as helping GPO customers maximize their savings and increasing contract utilization.

“Wise has proven to be a great collaborator with a good vision to lead this program,” said Mazanec. “She has developed great relationships with the entire GPO team and is certainly qualified for this promotion and new role.”

In addition to these promotions, Senior Vice President of Member Services Lisa Anderson will now oversee corporate communications and the Northeast Ohio Hospital Opioid Consortium. These key organizational changes come a little less than two months after Mazanec, formerly the organization’s chief operating officer, accepted the position as The Center and CHAMPS’ Interim President & CEO.

“In my short time leading the organization, it has become clear we need to rely more on the strength and talent that currently exists among our team,” said Mazanec. “Our organizational structure had become too flat. We need specialists with clear job functions who can focus on the future growth of The Center and CHAMPS. These organizational changes will allow us to work more effectively and efficiently in 2018.”
